The Spice of Life

Finished off a jar of "Emeril's Italian Essence" from Chef Emeril Lagasse, last night when making spaghetti with meatballs. It was "store bought" but I remembered that I once made a recipe of Emeril's Original Essence so I found the recipe on Food Network's website, made it and I'm passing along the recipe. 
Emeril's Essence
 2 1/2 T. paprika
2 T. salt
2 T. garlic powder
1 T. black pepper
1 T. onion powder
1 T. cayenne pepper
1 T. dried oregano
1 T. dried thyme
Combine ingredients thoroughly and store in airtight container. It is a "perfect blend of herbs and spices to compliment fish or fowl, meat or pasta."
