Sweet Easter Treats

Two sweet treats for Easter or anytime!

Bunny Bark

14 whole double stuffed yellow Oreos, broken into pieces
1 1/2 C. pretzels, broken into pieces
2 lbs. white bark coating
1 C. Easter M & Ms

Cover a large cookie sheet with waxed paper. Spread broken cookies, pretzels and 3/4 C. M & Ms onto the waxed paper. Heat bark in microwave for 1 1/2 minutes. Stir - if not completely melted heat for additional 30 minutes or until melted. Drizzle the melted bark over the cookie mixture, spreading with a spoon to coat evenly. Sprinkle remaining M & Ms over the chocolate before it hardens. Place cookie tray in refrigerator until firm. Remove and break into small pieces. Store in an air tight container. White Chocolate Fudge

1 (8 oz.) pkg of cream cheese
4 cups powdered sugar
1 1/2 t. vanilla
12 oz. white chocolate chips
 3/4 cup chopped pecans

Lightly grease and 8 X 8 inch baking dish. Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Heat white chocolate chips in a double boiler until melted and smooth. Combine melted white chocolate and cream cheese mixture. Mix in pecans. Spread into prepared dish. Chill for an hour before cutting into squares. (allrecipes.com)

After making my Bunny Bark and White Chocolate Fudge, I then packaged it all to share with friends. OK, I saved a little for us! This is not a great picture, but I used recycled clear "take out" containers, cellophane bags, mini buckets purchased from Hobby Lobby, colorful ribbon, Easter stickers, cellophane wrap and tulle - makes the presentation extra special for the special people in your life!

I found the Bunny Bark on Pinterest and have been waiting until Easter week to make it! I love Pinterest - it has the cutest, easiest and best ideas for all kinds of things. If you need an invite to join, let me know. If you're already on Pinterest, follow me on there! One day, I am going to figure out how to get  Pinterest to link from my blog. Still a work in progress!

There's no time like
Easter... for remembering
just how wonderful God's
love really is.

Blessings to You and Yours
