I forgot to include the banana pudding in my BBQ Menu! That's OK - it is so good, it deserves it's own page! It was the most requested recipe after the party!
Granny's Banana Pudding
Large Bunch of Bananas
Box of Vanilla Wafers
8 oz. Cool Whip
1 Can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
Large Box Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix
Prepare pudding according to directions on the box. To the vanilla pudding, add the Cool Whip and Eagle Brand Milk. In a large dish, layer bananas, vanilla wafers, pudding mixture. Repeat, ending with pudding mixture. Reserve some vanilla wafers to put on the top.
Note: This is my Mother's most requested dessert recipe for a family get together. She used to make the cooked version but everyone seems to like this one more. She says that the bananas stay fresh longer with this one. It really doesn't matter because this dish won't last that long!!
