SEC Breakfast Stop - Starkville, Mississippi

Breakfast is one of the favorite meals of our family, so we are always on the "lookout" for new breakfast places whenever we travel. We didn't have to travel too far to find the Starkville Cafe in Starkville, Mississippi while there for some SEC Basketball.  What a find!It got unanimous approval from our family!
Located in downtown Starkville, the Starkville Cafe serves both breakfast and lunch. The most intriguing thing on the menu is "Duck Butter". After an explanation from George and Jenny Sherman (who own a local clothing store) who were sitting beside us, we decided the "Duck Butter" was a "must try" - it is actually a syrup served with waffles or pancakes that is made at the Cafe! Delicious!! We know the waffles, pancakes, omelets and loaded hash browns are great! Everyone, including Annie, enjoyed their meal. We were there for a late Sunday morning breakfast while some guests were enjoying an equally delicious looking lunch!

So, if you are in Starkville (and SEC fans, you're bound to be there at some point for football, basketball, baseball or some other sport) try it out! Very friendly staff and patrons! Very welcoming! We can't wait to go back!
